Story 1

LUNCH GONE WRONG

On the first day, our lunch didn’t arrive in time. This would have been a problem, with all students waiting for us at the meeting point in 20 minutes. But thanks to Pebble, we could reschedule our afternoon activity and instantly notify all students.

We could finish our lunch, our students had an extra 30 minutes for themselves, and nobody had to stand outside in the rain.

EMERGENCY

A few participants ran into trouble. We needed to get to them as soon as possible. I remember when this happened some years back and we had to find out where they were. We were shouting over the phone, could hardly understand each other, and they didn’t know what street they were in.

Now, with Pebble, this was a lot easier. They could just share their location with us, and we knew exactly where they were.

INSPIRATION LISTS

It’s great that you can also add lists of about anything to Pebble. Being in London for the first time, as a teenager, can be overwhelming. We already gave our students hints about nice restaurants, stores and fun things for their free time.

With Pebble, we can put those in lists, and they can instantly see what’s nearby, at any time!

Story 4

CHANGE OF PLANS

Late in the evening we were approached by the hotel manager. They could not fit in breakfast for such a large group at 8am, but only at 8:30. Our students were already in their rooms and we were tired ourselves.

Normally we would go around knocking on all room doors to notify them all of the change. But this year we quickly sent them an update with Pebble. Done!

LOST ON THE SUBWAY

A few members of our group didn’t get on the subway in time. This used to be a big problem back in the day. Also, we did change the schedule for this afternoon.

Without pebble they would have consulted an outdated schedule on paper and go to the wrong place.

You can start working with Pebble for free. The Creator Web App as well as the Traveling Companion App are free to use. This allows you to test Pebble and play with it for as long as you like.

And you can even invite 5 friends or colleagues for free! You can collaborate on creating content and view your trip coming to live together.

When do I Pay?

To add more members to your trip, you need to invite them. You can invite 5 members for free, but you’ll have to pay a fee to add more members. The normal rate is 1 Euro for each member, multiplied by the duration of your trip, in days.
